BEYOND THE DARKNESS.
A love letter to the horror genre, built as a movie discovery archive.
ABOUT THIS ARCHIVE
DREADVAULT is a browsable catalog of 32,540 horror movie records from a historical dataset that ends in 2022. You can search, filter and keep a browser-local watchlist. It is not a streaming or file-download website, and movie availability is not represented or guaranteed.
DATA & POSTER SOURCES
Movie metadata in this edition comes from a user-supplied CSV dataset, originally attributed to The Movie Database (TMDB). Original poster and backdrop paths point to TMDB's external image CDN. The posters and movies are the property of their respective copyright holders. This product is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
For site operators: Verify the source dataset’s reuse rights and TMDB licensing terms before public or commercial deployment. The existence of an image link does not imply permission to commercially reproduce it. If you do not have appropriate rights, do not publish copyrighted posters or film information commercially without permission.
PRIVACY
The watchlist and preferred interface language are kept in your browser’s localStorage only. This website has no registration, payment processing, behavioral tracking, or site-owned analytics by default. Loading TMDB-hosted images and Google Fonts involves requests to those third-party services, which may receive standard network information. If you add advertising or analytics later, update this notice accordingly.
CORRECTIONS & CONTENT RIGHTS
If you operate this website, update the contact information below to allow copyright holders to submit corrections or content-rights requests. This demo package intentionally contains no fabricated contact details.
OPERATOR: Add your business contact email here before public launch.
DATA FRESHNESS
Movie metadata is a snapshot last updated in 2022. Ratings, vote counts, runtimes, synopses and availability may have changed since then; this package does not automatically refresh them.
